Paul F. Patek
 Paul
Patek is a Senior Managing Director of Source Capital, Ltd. Mr.
Patek has roughly 25 years of finance and operations experience
with large manufacturing companies including their distribution
divisions. Mr. Patek’s responsibilities with Source include
providing interim C Level executive services, consulting with primary
shareholders, board or C Level executives of companies, and preparing
companies for, and monitoring the performance of companies, through
significant growth or improvement initiatives. He is experienced
with developing and executing growth strategies and operational
improvement initiatives, managing supply chain and outsourcing
initiatives, overseeing the installation and upgrades of business
process measurement or financial reporting systems, and managing
the income statement, cash flow, balance sheet and financial controls
over operations. He also has considerable experience with acquisitions
including whole businesses or business units, operating assets,
product lines and intellectual property. Mr. Patek has had C level
experience for the past fifteen years including at the level of
the board of directors, and also with regard to business operations
and financial reporting to sophisticated private investors and
overseeing and driving results for shareholders.
Mr. Patek has recently
served as the interim SVP Finance for Energy Alloys, LLC, a $400
million value added distributor and light manufacturer of specialty
metals components used by large OEMs in the manufacture of energy
production equipment. Mr. Patek’s previous experience
includes: (i) serving for several years as President and CEO, Cabinet
Management Services, a $275 million building products manufacturer
and distributor, (ii) serving as Senior Vice President Finance
(1994-1998) and then as President of Fisher Scientific International’s
$1.5 billion Scientific Research Manufacturing and Distribution
Division, (iii) serving at Chrysler Corporation from 1985 to 1993
in a comprehensive series of senior financial roles across a broad
range of functions – Treasury, Investor Relations, Corporate
Finance, M&A, Financial Planning and Analysis and Accounting,
and (iv) beginning his career as a certified public accountant
(CPA) with Peat Marwick and rapidly advancing from an accounting
assistant to a Supervisor/Manager. Mr. Patek obtained a BBA from
University of Michigan in 1981 and has completed a substantial
number of graduate courses in finance and accounting. He resides
in Sewickley, Pennsylvania.
