The Orr Felt Company is a 170 year old, family-held business which manufacturers papermaker felts supplied to hundreds of paper manufacturers.

Source Capital, Ltd. began advising the now-deceased father of the currently controlling family members in 1989. To facilitate the father’s estate plans, in 1991, Source assisted the family in structuring a Delaware Business Trust as the acquisition vehicle to acquire Orr Felt from the father. In this most recent transaction, Source has assisted four family members who wished to obtain liquidity on their business holdings.
